Instant Alerts:

The Instant Alerts system allows me to get messages to you quickly - these will then appear as a small alert window in the bottom right hand corner of your computer screen.

To allow this to happen, you need to just download the small Instant Alerts application that is specific to Great Lakes College. Once installed, this will then allow me to send you messages to your computer - I will only do this if there is an urgent or time sensitive message.

Here is what to do:

1. Click on the download button below to download the
    application to your computer
2. Save it to somewhere you can easily find it (I'd suggest
    your desktop)
3. Unzip the file that you downloaded (it's called "setup.zip")
4. You will now see a "setup" folder. Open this and run the
    "setup.exe" file. Follow the installation instructions to
    install and that it. The program will now just run in the
    background, receiving any messages I send.
